If you are wondering why the movie called OM SHANTI OM
, and it has nothing to do with that song Om Shanti Om from Karz, it is because the story is about Om shanti and Om.Om is a junior artist struggling to make it big in movies, who is deeply in love with Shanti who happen to be the superstar, but om fails to win his true love as he tragically dies but the story doesn't end there, Shahrukh khan is reborn and becomes the superstar that he always wanted to be in his previous life, and he does get his true love in this life, of course shanti is now old and not a superstar that she once was...........

The story of the movie sounds pretty interesting and original, but the screenplay and the direction is the key to the success of any movie, everything else is secondary
