Salman Khan’s first film as a writer ‘Veer’ is to be directed by Anil Sharma. However, other than Salman the film was apparently also offered to Amitabh Bachchan but if rumours are to be believed the superstar rejected the offer since he wasn’t happy with Salman’s choice of the director!

Our sources revealed how Amitabh was unhappy with Anil Sharma in Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon !

We spoke to Anil Sharma and the ‘Gadar’ filmmaker sounded extremely disappointed with the rumours surrounding his rapport with Bachchan.

“I haven’t spoken to Amitabh Bachchan as yet about the film! I don’t understand how media encourages these silly rumours to grow! Also even if Bachchan saab had rejected my film he would never doubt my ability as a filmmaker. He is too dignified a human being to do such a thing!”

So who is in Veer other than Salman we ask. “Today, actors have more brains than me, so let them decide if they want to work with me or not”, retorted Anil.
