Just couple of days ago Katrina was sizzling the ramp for zapak show.Little did she know that her boy friend will be locked behind the bars for his alleged involvement in poaching case.Along with Katrina, Salman’s brother and actor Arbaaz Khan, sisters Alvera and Aprita, and sister-in-law and actress Malaika Arora Khan also visited the actor who is lodged at the Jodhpur Central Jail.

Jodhpur central jail is a home to India's most wanted and hardcore criminals.Salman khan close friend express his concerns over this matter and worried about his security, the other family members refused to speak to the media.

Though the jail's visiting hours for the day had ended, the superintendent allowed Katrina and the others to meet Salman for about half an hour at around 1500 hours IST.

According to the rulebook relatives can meet prisoners only between 0900 hours IST and 1100 hours IST on Sundays.I guess these are the perks for being a superstars.But his perks ended their Salman khan recieved no special treatment inside the jail.The superstar who is used to living in Air conditions room with all the comforts in the world, had to sleep on the floor and was given only three blankets.It was a no surprise that he had a sleepless night and passed his time by reading a novel but avoided any interaction with other prisoners, sources told PTI.

Known as Prisoner No. 343 and held in barrack number one, the actor was taken into custody and sent to jail on Saturday following dismissal of his appeal by the District and Session Judge Kamalraj Singhvi against a five-year jail term slapped upon him by the trial court in the Chinkara hunting case.

The actor may have to spend more nights in jail because his bail hearing may take place only on Wednesday, as it's a court holiday on Tuesday.

The court had already issued non bailable warrant against Salman khan on friday, after rejecting an appeal against his conviction last year for poaching an endangered species of gazelle.Khan faces a five-year jail sentence for killing gazelle when he was shooting a film nine years ago in western state of Rajasthan.

Wildlife conservationists were elated with the verdict. Kishore Rithe, wildlife conservationist based in Maharashtra, said:

"Now it does not matter whether it's the famous Pataudi or Salman Khan. These judgements are changing the scenario and no one can dare to harm protected wildlife."

"While he was on his way to the sets, he suddenly felt like smoking and so he stopped at a paan shop to buy a pack of cigarettes. But Salman wasn't carrying any cash. So, he requested the shop-keeper to give him the pack of cigarettes for which he promised to pay on his way back. But as the shop-keeper failed to recognise the star, and refused to give him the cigarettes because he wasn't too sure if he would get his money back."

"Disheartened, Salman went to another shop. He asked the next shopkeeper if he could pay up later. And this time the man obliged saying it was okay if Salman paid later," adds the source.

Salman was truly grateful about this. And in true Sallu style, he decided to return the favour. "On his way back, Salman stopped at the same paan shop and handed over an entire bundle of Rs 50 notes to the shopkeeper. The shocked shopkeeper said that the packet didn't cost that much. But, Salman insisted that he keep the money as he had given him the cigarettes on trust at a time when he had no money on him pay," says the source.
