Amisha patel seems to be going through the worst phase of her life, after starting her career with two big blockbusters like Kaho na pyaar hai and second being the biggest him of them all gadar, apparantely that happened to be her last hit as well.After that her career has been on the down slide, and her last movie Honeymoon pvt ltd was the biggest dud of the year.

She must have thought that things are going to change when she signed a movie with priyadarshan, but that wasn't to be.As she is nowhere to be seen in the recent promos of the movie and she was supposed to be playing the lead role opposite Akshay kumar however the posters show her standing with character actors like Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi and Paresh Rawal, whereas Vidya Balan is sitting pretty next to Akki despite being paired with Shiney Ahuja, the second lead.

According to sorces, Amisha was very upset when she saw the posters and immediately called Priyan but it was too late by then as all the posters were designed and sent for printing.

To add fuel to fire even the music CD covers carry the same design, so Amisha has decided not to promote the film.

Though Priyan maintains that he was not aware that Amisha was upset. He says, "I have seen the posters and the CD covers you are referring to, and if Amisha is hurt and feels let down then she has every right to be. These kind of things do let you down."

Although, I'm not a big fan of Amisha patel but I really feel for the poor girl, as she must have got her hopes up when she had signed a priyandarshan movie.After doing all the hardwork you are bound to get upset when you don't get what you had expected

Eklavya has been chosen as the official entry for Oscars from India. The other names that were considered were Chak de, Guru, and Gandhi my father.Eklavya wasn't a unanimous decision but majority of jury went for it.

The nomination of Eklavya by FFI has created quite a stir as its not one of the exceptional movies that were made in India this year, in fact far from it.Eklavya was a box office disaster and was thrashed by the critics for its weak script.The length of the movie is only one and half hours, but when you are watching it seems like eternity, that gives the idea how boring and badly written movie was Eklavya

The reasons for which this movie has been chosen must be only known to the FFI jury who came upon this decision.You will be shocked to learn that who was the head of that committee, Vijay pande, the guy who made z grade movie Red swastika, great credentials,I must say

Many might say that Chak de would have been the best choice, but themes like chak de have been done to death in hollywood, but it was definitely better than dud, Eklavya

I don't believe that we should take Oscars that seriously but if we are sending our movies their to represent India, it should only be the best

IMO, Black Friday should have been send for the Oscars, as it was brilliantly directed movie.It would have changed the perception about bollywood.The movie deals with the global issue of terrorism
