In Vivek Sharma's Bhootnath, The Big B plays a ghost…a dost ghost, so to speak. And the child actor he plays the friendly ghost to is Aman Siddiqui. The bonding between the two has to be seen to be believed.
Says the Big B, "Aman is an absolute darling. I've done several ads with him. And of course we earlier did a film together. In Eklavya, he had played junior Saif Ali Khan." This isn't the first time when the Big B has co-starred with a scene-stealing child actor. In fact during the last few years he has made a habit of working with phenomenally talented kids…. Ayesha Kapoor in Black, Rucha Vaidya in Ek Ajnabee and Sweeni Khare in Cheeni Kum were the three child actors who shared a significant screen space with the Big B.
The difference here is, Big B plays a ghost. Ask him how does one play a ghost and the Big B laughs, "I've never seen one. But I had played one earlier in Honey Irani's Armaan. You go by what the director tell you. Which isn't saying much, because I doubt the director has seen one too. Unless he's drawing inspiration from present company, meaning me," the Big B ends with a chuckle.
