Two days after he was granted bail by the supreme court, Sanjay dutt has finally been released from the jail along with his friend. Dressed in a white kurta and a pair of blue jeans, Dutt seemed very happy as he waved to the crowd while getting into a Toyota Innova.

The 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' star will be taking a private jet to Mumbai from Pune airport, a 10-minute drive from the jail.

Dutt's lawyer Satish Maneshinde, who reached Pune Thursday morning, told IANS: 'We are very thankful to the media for being patient and understanding.'

Bollywood troubled actor Salman Khan seems to be heading for another breakup. In fact, he was at an all time low after his breakup with Aishwarya Rai ( now, Aishwarya Bachchan) until he found Katrina Kaif. They have been going steady for some years now, but the story seems to have changed of late. The grapevine is abuzz with the news that they have split.

Sources revealed that Salman had a tiff with Katrina after she signed a few films without his consent. It was rumoured that Salman was not happy with Katrina for signing a film with Shahid Kapoor. It is also said that she abruptly hung up on him when she failed to convince him on the matter.

Katrina is currently busy shooting for Singh is King in Australia while Salman is shooting for Boney Kapoor"s Wanted – Dead and Alive in Mumbai. However, Salman seems to have cancelled the shooting of the film after the tiff with his girlfriend.

Well, it looks like this is the beginning of another great split!

Indian artist M F Hussain, a self-confessed fan of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, has booked an entire show of her comeback film Aaja Nachle, releasing in theatres in the UAE on Thursday.

The famous painter, now living here, has reserved 194 seats for the 2pm show at Lamcy Cinema on the day for special guests from all walks of life.

Madhuri had been missing from the acting scene for quite some time after her marriage to US-based surgeon Dr Sriram Nene. Hussain said movie tickets for Aaja Nachle would act as "invites" and would have his autograph and a sketch of the Bollywood diva.

"I'll also be exhibiting paintings of Madhuri in the foyer of the theatre. I have made these paintings based on her great hits," he told the Khaleej Times. In fact, the paintings are a part of a series I have undertaken and will be exhibited sometime next year as my tribute to Bollywood, the biggest and greatest movie industry in the world, he added.

Hussain is currently painting a series of huge panels that depict the glorious 100-year history of Indian cinema for the exhibition titled, From the Silver Silence of Dadasaheb Phalke to the Golden Dazzle of Madhuri Dixit.

Dixit told the paper that she was "overwhelmed by his gesture of booking a theatre for my comeback film. I feel very flattered indeed!"

The Supreme Court granted bail to Sanjay Dutt who was imprisoned for the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.

The apex court has instructed Dutt to furnish a bond subject to the satisfaction of the TADA (Prevention) Act judge and that his passport will remain deposited.

The court also added that it would not grant bail to those sentenced to life imprisonment and that it will not consider any appeal and bail plea of those convicts who have not surrendered.

Seen in a body suit, Kangna’s picture is accompanied by an equally shocking headline. But though Kangna’s so-called nude appearance has caught a lot of attention, the actress herself is unfazed.

She says, “What’s the big deal about the picture? Are any of my vital organs seen? I haven’t posed nude at all. These days one doesn’t need to. Body suits are available readily in the market.”


Kangna fails to understand why so many eyebrows are being raised. She says, “Why would I be upset? It was for an annual issue and we just tried doing something different. In my profession, one has to do different kinds of photo shoots. I fail to understand why such a big deal is made about a normal picture.”

UTV’s current plans are to release the magnum opus in 1,000 + screens in the domestic market in the three languages [Hindi, Tamil, Telugu]. “Don’t be surprised if the number of screens touch 1,200,” Suniel Wadhwa, Associate Vice President - India Distribution, UTV informs me. The breakdown [as on this date] is as follows:- Hindi version 750, Telugu version 150 and Tamil version 100 screens. Incidentally, Hrithik Roshan’s previous movies, DHOOM 2 and KRRISH, were also dubbed in Telugu and Tamil languages.

The Telugu trailers of JODHA AKBAR were unleashed during Dassera week [18th October] with ATHIDHI, with 248 trailers [352 screens] across Andhra Pradesh, while the Tamil trailers were released during the Diwali week [9th November] with AZHAGIYA TAMIL MAGAN and VEL.
